Short-listed For Three National Business Awards
KK completed 2004 with a 53% growth in turnover, a newly confirmed meat range to various breweries and foodservice customers. It also had great success within the industry overall as it scooped yet more industry awards for Best Vegetarian Products and even a few places for its new meat dishes.
KK closed their year when they collected the Medium Company of the Year Award in association with the Daily Post for Wales in November. KK were particularly proud to have received this award for Wales as it not only recognised their hard work and commitment to the development of innovative ready meals but its dedication in developing it employees and creating even further jobs within Wales. With their Investor in People programme now heavily underway and the level of loyalty and commitment from staff is at an overall high, the planned expansion for 2006 has left staff expectantly excited, as faster production lines are introduced to help maintain their current demand. KK is operating at 96% of its full capacity only 2 years after moving into their new site
Short Listed for Three National Business Awards 2005 offered more opportunities to have their hard work recognised as the company this week was announced as a short listed company for 3 of the 11 awards up for grabs at The National Business Awards, 2005, organised by the leading events and publishing company Quest Media to promote and showcase excellence throughout the British business community.The National Business Awards is an impressive accolade to pick up. As The National Business Awards programme allows new ventures and SME’s to vie with large and complex companies in the search for the top business performers. Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown has described The National Business Awards as “the UK’s Business Oscars”. KK will not know who the winners will be for a further 2 months but they are said to be delighted to have got down to the last four in each category.
